LIBF-accredited Introduction to Special Needs Planning
SENDA's LIBF-accredited 1 hour training course covers the essentials of special needs planning.
Designed to be a basic level, introductory course that is a great lead into the SENDA Foundation Course. Created for advisers and intermediaries and 5* rated by attendees, this course will increase your confidence when working with families who have disabled loved ones.
Course includes: recorded training session from June 2026 and slide handouts
Learning objectives:
- Understand the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) landscape in the UK.
- Understand SEND and the key definitions and language.
- Learn about the unique challenges facing financial and future planning for SEND families.
- Introduction to identifying clients who will benefit from Special Needs Planning and a different approach.
- Introduction to the SENDA ARC (Access, Risk, Care Plan) Framework.
